I found breakfast!

Some of you faithful readers may recall a post I did back in March regarding eating habits and how I am not a very healthy eater. There was also a sequel to that post outlining how as much as I would LIKE to be a healthy eater, I’m just not good at it since I get sick of food so often.

A couple weeks ago, I was told (for the millionth time) to not skip breakfast. “If you’re going to skip a meal, skip lunch; just don’t skip breakfast!”

But… I usually just don’t FEEL like eating. NOW, I am proud to announce, I have found a great solution! It’s called “Peach Yogurt Drink”. Brad and Jacinda gave me a cookbook for my birthday a while ago, and it has all sorts of good things in it. Anyway, the other night, while I was making supper, I discovered this “Peach Yogurt Drink”. So I decided to try it, and it was great! I had leftovers for breakfast. It was good that night, but it was even better for breakfast.

It’s very strange because it combines milk (which I hate drinking in the morning), yogurt (in the little cups, which I don’t ever really enjoy) and orange juice (ok, that one’s all right) along with a little vanilla. So I don’t really like 2 out of the 3 big ingredients, but it still turned out to be very yummy!

all the ingredients ready to blend..

I would post the recipe, but I think that might be infringing some sort of copyright law…so if you want it, just comment here or email me :)

My brother suggested adding ice cream, and I think maybe I’ll try that next time.

But for now… I’m very excited! I’ve discovered a good, healthy, filling breakfast. Now here’s to hoping I don’t get sick of it ;)

Brekky for this morning :)

    Hi Esther!
I am the same as you- I hate eating breakfast…grosses me out. I have recently been drinking chocolate protein drinks- good for building muscle up after a morning jog. But your recipe sounds fantastic. Would it be possible for you to email it to me?
Thanks! Hope you are enjoying your literary studies.
